Impress your family and friends this summer with SUPER SIMPLE Bourbon Peach Dessert Topping! It is a warm, sweet addition to pound cakes, Mini Peach Bundt Cakes, and of course….ice cream! Confession: I ate spoonfuls of this glorious Bourbon Peach Topping all by itself.
Make sure you serve this warm! And, you may want to triple double the recipe!

The warm, thick sauce complements vanilla ice cream so very well in the summertime! And, it just soaks right into pound cakes or Bundt cakes for additional layers of flavoring.
Bourbon Peach Dessert Topping
Ingredients
- 2 tbs butter
- 3 tsp bourbon
- 5 tsp brown sugar
- 3 large ripe peaches
Instructions
- Peel and core peaches. Slice into bite-sized chunks.
- In a non-stick pan, heat butter over medium heat. When melted, stir in brown sugar and peaches.
- Cook over medium heat until peaches are soft.
- Serve warm over ice cream or pound cake.
