Just in time for the Masters Golf Tournament and spring entertaining…may we present to you the Azalea Belle cocktail! We gave the mimosa a make over! You’ll love the Azealea Belle with it’s secret ingredient. Bring a little of the Augusta lifestyle into your home this spring
Have you been to the Masters? They say if you go you absolutely MUST take in the beauty of the azaleas on the 13th hole and you have to try the pimento cheese sandwiches. Copa attended a practice round a few years ago and verified the above statement. As a matter of fact, Hole No. 13 boasts over 1600 azalea bushes and is one of the most famous holes on the Augusta, GA course.
Celebrate the Green Jacket ceremony this year with a batch of Azalea Belles!
That’s right. We gave the mimosa a total makeover. Hello, springtime!
This refreshing cocktail can be served in a champagne flute (so long, mimosas!) or a crystal tumbler. For a Masters viewing party, mix batches of Azalea Belle cocktails in your favorite clear glass pitcher. To keep it chilled during your tailgate or party, use a Corkcicle chiller. It is designed for wine bottles, but I use it for party punches, too!
You know what, this pretty little beverage would be perfect for a bridal shower!
We love mimosas. They are a favorite brunch standby beverage. But……..
You see, it’s springtime. And well, we wanted something a little lighter, a little more spring-y!
With only three ingredients, Azalea Belle cocktails are just as easy to whip up as the good ‘ol mimosa!
WAIT. Did you see that?
The SECRET INGREDIENT. Yep. Right there in the center.
DEWshine makes this brunch cocktail amazing.
Vanilla vodka, DEWshine and pink lemonade. A simple recipe with spectacular results.
It’s the Azalea Belle.
Take a sip and pretend you are in Augusta.
Or at the beach. Or in Tuscon. Whatever floats your boat. We won’t tell anyone!
DEWshine is a citrus flavored non-alcoholic beverage. It is lighter in taste than its cousin, Mt. Dew, and we are kind of obsessed. The citrus blend complements the lemonade beautifully, lending to a very fragrant (and pretty!) drink.
To balance the calorie count from the vodka and soda, I used low-calorie lemonade. If you want a stronger Azalea Belle you can increase the vodka by another ounce or so.
The recipe makes enough for one tumbler or two champagne flutes. It easily doubles (and triples!) to make pitchers for bridal showers, tennis luncheons, and of course…Masters viewing parties!
