The west coast of Florida boasts a hidden gem and a private, championship golf resort: Innisbrook!
Growing up, my husband played golf tournaments at Innisbrook. When dear friends celebrated a 50th birthday in Palm Harbor, we booked a golf villa at Innisbrook for the Saturday night we were in town. Copa was so excited to show me a part of his childhood!
Innisbrook is a private resort and golf club. The club is home to the PGA Valspar Championship Tournament. We stayed at Innisbrook in early March before the tournament; the course was in UNBELIEVABLE condition!
If you here for the tournament, a golf/tennis vacation, or just some R & R at a legendary Florida resort, you will love all that the 900 acres has to offer.

We loved getting a sneak peek of the tournament set up!
Of course, we ducked into the pro shop for Innisbrook merch before we left!
Innisbrook’s famed Copperhead Course is know for holes #16, #17 and #18…..called the Snake Pit! 🙂
The Osprey Clubhouse is just ONE of the clubhouses at Innisbrook! There are 3 clubhouses – this place is HUGE!
If you are staying at one of the golf villas, you will check in at the Osprey Clubhouse.
Due to the nature of our visit to the resort (we were there less than 24 hours), we did not have time for golf or tennis. We grabbed a cocktail at Turnberry Pub and were extremely impressed with the cozy, upscale pub. Next time, we are packing our rackets, golf gloves, clubs and will look forward to dinner at Packard’s!
