This fresh Cantina Style Salsa is SO easy to whip up on game day! The ingredients come together quickly and within minutes you can serve your fans a salsa that is waaaay better than store bought salsa.
The Players on the Field
- A can of diced tomatoes
- 1 lime
- 1/4 of an onion – chopped
- Cilantro
- Jalapeno
- Garlic (just 1 clove)
- Salt
Your Playbook for Cantina Style Salsa
Once you have the ingredients chopped & diced, all you have to do is put them in a blender and you will have the BEST bowl of fresh salsa. A few pulses and your salsa is ready!
You can use any blender to mix the salsa; we used a Blendjet® as we like the wire-free portability. You can find a similar wireless blender here. Cantina Style Salsa
Equipment
- 1/2 can diced tomatoes
- 1 lime
- 1/2 cup onion diced fine
- 1 jalapeno, cut in half seeded and diced fine
- 1 clove garlic minced (fresh garlic)
- dash salt
Instructions
- Wash jalapeno pepper, cut in half and remove seeds. Dice half of the jalapeno finely. Set aside.
- Dice onion and rinse well. Set aside.
- Wash lime and cut in half. Set aside.
- In a blender, add all ingredients except lime. Squeeze lime juice into your blender.
- Blend on high speed until desired consistency.
