Disclosure: I received compensation from Bayer Consumer Health, makers of MiraLAX® to write this post. MiraLAX® is a laxative used to treat occasional constipation. All opinions are entirely my own. #EaseTheDay #CollectiveBias #ad
This Strawberry Smoothie with Honey is a rich, creamy classic bursting with fresh flavor! You can use either frozen or fresh berries with the same result: one delicious smoothie!
Self care is important, and when I am not tailgating I am making sure my body is operating at peak performance. This smoothie is my go-to breakfast on most days!
Let’s face it, changes in routine, travel schedules (hello, summertime!), stress and rich foods can sometimes lead to…..occasional constipation.
You know I LOVE my tailgating foods and decadent game-day snacks. So, I have a secret game-day hack: a fiber & nutrient rich Strawberry Smoothie with Honey.
Tip: I add MiraLAX® to my Strawberry Smoothie with Honey to help with that occasional constipation!
Strawberry Smoothie with Honey
The Players on the Field:
- Strawberries! Either fresh or frozen will work beautifully.
- Vanilla Greek yogurt
- Ice (if you are using fresh berries)
- Honey
- Chia seeds
The vanilla Greek yogurt is key; it provides a velvety richness that just can’t be beat. A little swirl of honey & ice cubes round out the recipe.
Hydration is super important when tailgating, especially on hot game days. Have you ever been in Oxford or Tuscaloosa in mid-September?!? Let’s just say gallons of sweet tea are required to keep up with that heat! But sometimes, water alone just doesn’t keep me functioning at my best. (The cheese in our dips don’t help, either! )
When I have occasional constipation, my game-plan includes starting off the day with my special smoothie. MiraLAX®works with the water already in my body to help keep me on track. Here is why I absolutely love adding it to my smoothie:
- MiraLAX® works with your body’s natural process to provide effective relief from occasional constipation. Because it works with the body, MiraLAX®provides a gentle experience, and doesn’t cause harsh side effects.
- Use as directed.
- MiraLAX®Mix-In-Pax® is super easy to take on the go!
- MiraLAX® is different from stimulant laxatives.

Take It To The Tailgate Tip:
- Single packets! Yep, MiraLAX®Mix-In Pax are so easy to toss in your suitcase, satchel & even your camera case! 🙂
My husband keeps a value size bottle in our pantry at all times. Because like I said earlier, I make this smoothie often! MiraLAX®is easy to take and easy on my body; it is a safe and effective brand you can trust. TOUCHDOWN! #EaseTheDay
I float a teaspoon or so of chia seeds on top of my smoothie. The seeds boost this already nutrient packed smoothie. This recipe will make one single 12 ounce serving, but it easily doubles.
I usually stock up on MiraLAX® at Walmart, because we are there all the time! I’m all about efficiency, so if I can grab my casserole ingredients, beach chairs & school supplies all at one store I’m one happy girl! You can find it on the Health & Beauty isle, just like I did.
I know you will love this smoothie as much as I do…..nothing beats a tried & true classic!
