Welcome back, I’m so glad you are here for Weigh-In Wednesday: Week 2 of My Weight loss Journey!
I lost weight this week! They say it takes two weeks to form a habit, and boy am I glad I’m halfway there!
Today, I’m going to tell you exactly how much weight I’ve lost since last Wednesday. As I mentioned in my first weigh-in post, I am re-training myself when it comes to caloric intake and portion control. Have I been hungry this week? YES. But, when the hunger pains struck, I knew my stomach was shrinking just a tad.
So, before I tell you how much weight I lost since last Wednesday, I want to give you a peek at my week:
This week, two big things happened in my life:
1) My baby girl came home from college!
2) Mother’s Day!
Like most tailgaters, our family celebrates big occasions with FOOD. Copa gave me My Early Mother’s Day Gift which helped me prepare – mentally & physically- for our weekend celebrations. Because I spent last week tracking calories and activity levels with my new Garmin Fit Activity Tracker (affiliate), I felt like I could approach a “cheat” day with strategy. Mother’s Day was my cheat day. Brunch. Champagne. And Mexican (my fave!) for supper. I enjoyed the day fully, in moderation.
Saturday, Cee Cee and I devoured several Fried Macaroni & Cheese Bites (recipe coming soon!) while we caught up on the new season of Chrisley Knows Best. (Don’t you just love Todd?!?! Nanny Faye is our favorite, though!)
Then, we pulled ourselves off the sofas and headed to the gym. Cee Cee & I had a great workout; I love spending time with her!
Getting back to the gym this week was HUGE for me. I plan to rotate my Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred (affiliate) DVD on the days I don’t make it to the gym:I have to tell you, this workout DVD is a lifesaver! The workouts are high cardio with strength training…and only 20 minutes long! Even I can fit that into a cramped schedule! The best part? It is under $10! I swear…best workout DVDpurchase ever! (affilate)
Sooo….HOW MUCH WEIGHT DID I LOSE BY WEEK?
3.91 pounds! 😊🎉
It’s 6:41 a.m. right now and I am SO pumped! Even with a high sodium/carb/fat cheat day, my weight loss was still achieved!
